Improved content and accessibility

While Sunkenland has mostly enjoyed popularity as a single-player adventure, it has expanded to multiplayer territory with the addition of Dedicated Servers. The developers have provided a free-to-download tool that allows players to set up their own in-game servers that they can use for multiplayer sessions.

Other changes in the game’s major update includes rebalancing the game, particularly its progression. For example, the stages in the game marked by technology upgrades are more distinguishable to make these phases more evenly spaced. The gun assembly process has also been overhauled, allowing players to recycle broken guns instead of simply farming the materials needed for various firearms. Lastly, expect more items, weapons, and gears to unlock and collect.

Previous game bugs have been fixed, including friends being unable to join a particular server; crafting items from the New World blueprint despite not unlocking it; enemies not spawning once no player is left on a dedicated server; drops in the frame rate when using certain languages, and many more. It has also seen some major optimization, such as a redesigned Iron Skull base combat zone, remastered Dreadville map, removed password requirement when inviting friends, added world creation option, and so much more.
